Just a little bit of trivia for you. My guest today is Deb DeLucca who plays piano, bass guitar and is also a singer.
How many years have you been playing?
I've been playing 30 plus years.
What was your first gig like?
It was in a dive bar in the 80's. I don't even remember the name of it.
What musicians influenced you?
I'd say the Beatles, Freddy Mercury, Rash, Joni Mitchell, Maria Callas, Deborah Harry and Tori Amos.
How many bands have you been in?
There are too many to number.
What's it like to gig?
I wouldn't want to do anything else. It's hard to describe as it changes over the years but it's a mix of hard work and doing what you love.
How often do you practice?
I practice every day.
What was one of your accomplishments as a musician?
Opera Recital at CAMI Hall... intense!!!!
