Talented Musicians - Debbie Egizi - Author

An Interview with Debbie Egizi - Author of Talented Musicians

Here's how the blog came to be.
Well, the story begins with an idea that a friend of mine, my husband and myself had to develop a Musician's App. The jist of the App would be to let musicians create profiles and post videos for others to view.  We would want a musician to be able to go on the App and scroll through gigs to see if there's something that they like, send an email and make a connection.

I created a Music Page and began to ask musicians to join.  I also have a personal page, To the Gig, that continues to friend musicians from around the world.  As I began to read different posts from drummers, guitarists etc... I became interested in their stories.  Then the blog idea popped into my head.  "Why don't I interview these people and tell their stories? " I also wanted to bring some attention to our site, www.tothegig.com.

When did the blog begin?
I wrote my first post on July 26th of this year.

How is it going right now?
Well, it's going well.  I post from Monday thru Friday of each week.  I'm always looking for musicians to interview on the blog.  I am blown away at how many people read each post daily.

What I want to come out of this.
I see a To the Gig website set up with hundreds of musicians having their own profiles.  I'd also love to see lots of videos being posted from our members so others could see some awesome playing being done.  I'd love to see an ad from a cruise line looking for musicians to play on their ship for say a three-month period.  Finally, I want my blog to have hundreds of interviews from musicians from all over the world.  Is that crazy?  Maybe.  Maybe not.
P.S.  I want to see our To the Gig App develop.

Thank you to all of you who read the blog.

Always looking for new artists to feature on our blog
